Career Transition Services We Offer

 

George Beshara has been involved in providing career transition services for more than 30 years.  He is the author of Managing My Life: Direct Approach to Employment, Managing My Life: Careers for Heart and Spirit and Managing My Life: Career Choices Made Easy.  He or other experienced career transition professionals he has personally selected will provide the services you have purchased.

Our Career Planning Service - For Those Not Sure About Their Career Direction

Via Web-Conference - 3 sessions for a total up to 3 hours.

 

When you sign up for the service, we e-mail you a copy of our chapters on "Knowing My Strengths, Transferable Skills, Motivators and Special Gifts" and "Identifying New Career Options" from MML: Direct Approach to Employment and we schedule a 60 minute web-conference meeting to discuss your career situation. We will also review the exercises in the workbook so that you feel comfortable completing them before the next web-conference meeting.

 

During the second web-conference, we review the completed workbook, and discuss the career options you have identified.  We will discuss the additional research that you need to do in order to make a final decision.  We will also discuss the financial ramifications regarding a change in career direction and will e-mail you our chapter on financial ramification from MML - Careers for Heart and Spirit to help you review your fiancial situation (if you need to).  During the second web-conference meeting, we will also practice a couple of "Advice Calls" which you will need to make when conducting in-depth research on the career options you are considering.

 

During the third web-conference, we review your situation, the results from the in-depth reseach and help you make your decision along with a detailed action plan to ensure your successful transition into the new career.

 

Our Fee: $350.00 plus any applicable taxes. 

 

To purchase the service: 

Our Resume Service

Via 2 Web-Conference - 2 sessions for a total up to 2 hours.

 

When you sign up for the service, we e-mail you a copy of our chapter on resume preparation from MML: Direct Approach to Employment and we schedule a 30 minute web-conference meeting to help you decide on the format of the resume and the key elements that you will be including. 

 

You will then draft your first version of your resume in MS Word which you will e-mail us.  We will review together the resume during our web-conference meeting and will make the necessary revisions and changes together.  We will then convert the resume into PDF and will e-mail you the final version in both PDF and MS Word.  

 

Our Fee: $225.00 plus any applicable taxes. 

 

To purchase the service: 


Our Interview Preparation Service
Via 2 Web-Conference - 2 sessions for a total up to 2 hours.
 

When you sign up for the service, we e-mail you a copy of our chapter on interview preparation from MML: Direct Approach to Employment and we schedule a 30 minute web-conference meeting to help you decide on the questions for the interview and the type of jobs - positions you seek to be interviewed for and for which you should be reasonably qualified.

 

You will then respond to 2 or 3 job openings and will e-mail us the details of these jobs.  We will schedule a web-conference meeting during which and will be interviewed for these positions and given feedback on how to improve your responses.  

 

Our Fee: $225.00 plus any applicable taxes.  

 

To Purchase The Service:  

Networking and Using Linked-In - Accessing the Hidden Job Market
Via 2 Web-Conference - 2 sessions for a total up to 2 hours. 
 

When you sign up for the service, we e-mail you a copy of our chapter on networking from MML: Direct Approach to Employment and ask you to to sign-up to LinkedIn if you are not already a member and to update your personal profile accordingly. 

 

We also schedule a 60 minute web-conference meeting to help you decide on your networking approach and to review together LinkedIn to ensure that you are using the service effectively.  

 

We then ask you to e-mail us the names of 2 or 3 contacts, along with their professional background so that we can schedule a web-conference meeting during which we will role-play your making those networking calls to these individuals and discuss ways to improve your presentation if neeeded.

 

Our Fee: $225.00 plus any applicable taxes.
